The Foundation is dedicated to helping those in need become independent and self-sufficient. Each programme below carries what it has funded and where it has reached.


The programmes

Health Services
Rural medical consultations, hospital equipment, polio eradication with Rotary International, and glaucoma research.

Education
University scholarships, book distribution with Books For Africa, and model schools and classrooms.

Widows Cooperative
Cooperative societies, skills acquisition, housing and direct relief for widows in Anambra State.

Youth Empowerment
Micro-finance grants and loans for small and medium enterprises, including the motorcycle transit venture.

Infrastructure Development
The Rotary Centre in Abuja, the Waziri Alhassan Public Library in Daura, and hospital bed sets for ABUTH Zaria.

International Programmes
Book shipments to the Gambia and Tanzania, Rotary's first Peace Center in Africa, and river blindness work with The Carter Center.
