A cooperative, not a handout.
Cooperative societies, skills acquisition, housing and direct relief for widows in Anambra State, run under the Touch-A-Life initiative.

What the programme does
The Widows Cooperative programme supports widows in Anambra State through cooperative societies, skills acquisition and the establishment of small and medium enterprises, so that women left without support can become independent and self-sufficient.
Alongside the cooperative, the Foundation builds and furnishes homes for widows. Ten fully furnished houses at Oraifite were commissioned by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in January 2024 under the Touch-A-Life initiative.
Direct relief runs in parallel: rice distributions in Oraifite and surrounding communities have reached more than two thousand widows at a time.
