Capital, so a trade can start.
Micro-finance grants and loans for small and medium enterprises, skills acquisition schemes, and support for the pioneer graduates of each scheme.

What the programme does
The Youth Empowerment programme provides micro-finance grants and loans for the establishment of small and medium enterprises, so that young people leaving education or training have the capital to begin a trade.
Skills acquisition schemes run alongside the finance, and the Foundation continues to support the pioneer graduates of each intake. A motorcycle transit venture was among the first businesses established under the programme.
The Foundation is committed to human capacity development and to the establishment of cooperative societies, both of which run through this programme and the Widows Cooperative.
